Every two years, the French Académie des Sciences d’Outre-Mer (ASOM) and the Belgian Royal Academy for Overseas Sciences (RAOS) meet in turn in Brussels and Paris.
For example, in 2021, the meeting was held in Brussels (topic: « Involvement of the Christian missions in the exchange of knowledge with Asia ») and in 2023 in Paris dealing with « Marine resource management, biodiversity conservation, food security and sustainable development ».

This year ‒ 2025 ‒ the New World Order is the subject of the meeting between both our academies in Brussels on 13 and 14 October. Although the meeting is primarily aimed at members of the two academies, it is also open to third parties, who are invited to register their interest at contact@kaowarsom.be.
